Life is happening now and rarely does it feel perfect. We specialize in integrating life-deepening strategies into your everyday experiences. Whether you're tackling mood challenges, self worth issues, postpartum difficulties, or relationship dynamics, we bring useful techniques to real-world scenarios.
Continual Growth:
Stagnation has no place in our approach. Our commitment to staying current with the latest research and practices ensures that you receive the most effective, evidence-based tools available. We deeply believe in your feedback - when you find an approach particularly helpful, we want to know. And when something doesn’t land well, we want to know about that, too. The Details:
Hi there! I'm Martina, a dedicated, heart-led practitioner on a mission to guide you toward holistic well-being. I know what it feels like to be trapped inside harmful thoughts and behaviors - wishing for change, but confused on where to start. My professional practice was born out of a personal revolution to find healing, truth, and authenticity. I’m excited to share the education and real-life experiences that helped me return home to myself.
Since 2016, I’ve served as a clinician, supervisor, and director. After becoming a mother to a tenacious little girl in 2022, I leaned more into my power than ever. My daughter taught me to move with intention, feel appreciation for the littlest of things, and unapologetically follow my passions. Big Sky Wellness was born from her influence.
It is my promise to embrace the same principles of self-care and continual growth that I advocate for in my practice. Outside of Big Sky, you'll find me in the wild, with dirt on my feet and sun on my skin. I come alive sleeping under the stars, wading in waterfalls, and on the back of a Harley. I’ll lose myself in yummy food and sunsets.
If you're ready to embark on a journey toward holistic well-being, where empathy, curiosity, and self-discovery are the guiding forces, I invite you to reach out. Together, we'll create a therapeutic space that honors your individuality and supports your transformative growth.
With gratitude,

Meet Cassie

Mom/Aunt to 3 awesome kiddos and 2 perfect pups
Married to my best friend
Masters of Social Work from Saginaw Valley University
5+ years providing meaningful therapy
Trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Hockey, traveling, and shopping enthusiast
The Details:
I’m Cassie — and I’m really glad you’re here. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling exhausted from overthinking, second-guessing themselves, or constantly putting others first. You might feel stuck in self-doubt, guilt, or an inner voice that’s hard to quiet. If that sounds familiar, it makes sense — and you don’t have to carry it by yourself.
My approach is to keep therapy real, relational, and grounded. We’ll slow things down, get curious about patterns like people-pleasing or self-criticism, and gently unpack where they came from and the parts of you that use these patterns to stay safe, connected, or accepted. A lot of our work focuses on building self-worth, learning to trust yourself again, practicing boundaries and honoring your needs without guilt.
I have extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual abuse, individuals navigating complex trauma, and those experiencing acute mental health crises. My practice is intentionally inclusive, with a focus on supporting LGBTQIA+ clients in navigating life transitions and supporting them in feeling understood, empowered, and connected.
This work isn’t just about coping—it’s about creating a kinder, more trusting relationship with yourself. Growth isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about rediscovering your value, reclaiming your confidence, and finally feeling at home in who you are.
Be well,
LMSW

Wife and mother to two wonderful kids
BA Journalism and Political Science from the University of Michigan–Flint
Master’s in Counseling from Central Michigan University with a concentration in clinical mental health
Experience in infant mental health and perinatal/postpartum support
Registered yoga teacher with almost a decade of teaching experience
Lover of camping, figure skating, and baking (pies are my favorite!)
The Details:
Hello! I’m Jennifer, and I’m so glad you’re considering therapy. My mission as a counselor is to help you come home to your authentic self. Life’s stressors can pull us away from our values, our identity, and our sense of grounding. Together, we can create space to reconnect with what matters most to you.
My therapeutic style is relaxed, non-judgmental, and empowering. I believe you hold the wisdom you need, and my role is to support you as you uncover it. As a recipient of mental health counseling, I know how challenging life can be. My time as a yoga teacher taught me to value the mind–body connection. Sessions may incorporate breathwork, mindfulness, or gentle movement when it feels helpful and comfortable for you.
I have experience working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and postpartum issues. Most recently I’ve counseled families in strengthening their bond with their little ones. In addition, I’ve worked with college students navigating test anxiety, career decisions, ADHD challenges, family trauma, and more.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me with my husband and two kids. We love camping in the summer and fall, snowshoeing in the winter, and spending as much time as we can outdoors. Yoga continues to be essential to my own mental and physical well-being, and I love sharing that passion with others.
If this approach resonates with you, I’d be honored to work together. Let’s make it happen.
Warmly,
LLPC RYT-200
Meet Heather
The Basics:
Divorced and currently enjoying life with a wonderful partner
BA in Communication Disorders and MA in Community Mental Health Counseling, both from the University of Northern Iowa
Michigan transplant during COVID; originally from Iowa, and have also lived in Kansas and Ohio
Experience in career and life transitions
Lover of travel, board games, and ice cream
The Details:
Hi there! I’m Heather, and if you’re considering counseling, whether for the first time or the first time in a while, I want to start by honoring the courage it takes to be here. Life transitions, both expected and unexpected, can deeply impact our sense of identity, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Job changes, relationship shifts, loss, becoming a parent, or moving to a new place can leave us feeling unsteady, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves. You don’t have to navigate that alone.
My passion for counseling comes from a genuine desire to reduce suffering and offer steady, compassionate support during times of change. While my career has included many years outside the traditional therapy space, I’ve come full circle back to my roots. I’ve spent extensive time working with college-age adults as they navigate anxiety, perfectionism, depression, career uncertainty, and relationship challenges. I also understand firsthand what it’s like to change employers, manage workplace stress and politics, and rebuild a sense of community after relocating to an unfamiliar place.
My therapeutic approach is strengths-based, holistic, non-judgmental, and adaptable to your unique needs. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
Outside of the therapy space, you’ll find me hiking, biking, throwing a frisbee, or dancing with my partner. I’m always up for game nights, exploring new places, and saying yes to dessert. If my freezer ever runs out of ice cream…it’s clearly broken!
If you’re looking for a supportive, grounded partner in your personal growth journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Warmly,
LLPC
The clients we work best with tend to have a few things in common:
They feel motivated to address patterns that no longer serve them (even if they’re not totally sure what that will look like).
They are willing to feel vulnerable (even if it feels scary).
They're ready to take ownership of their lives and make (sometimes tough) changes to support their wellbeing.
